In addition to our experience as described in our Areas of Practice section, CHAPMAN & INTRIERI, L.L.P. believes it is our unique Client Services that separate us from the competition:

LOYALTY TO OUR CLIENTS AND ADHERENCE
TO OUR CLIENTS’ WISHES

We are available to our clients whenever the need should arise. We have a proven track record in securing injunctive or provisional relief in exigent circumstances. We will represent our clients faithfully in every matter according to the client’s stated goal and objective.

EXPERTISE IN LITIGATION
The principals of this Firm have successfully handled jury and bench trials, arbitrations and appellate work in state and federal forums. The Firm also participates in ongoing training and education to ensure that our legal services are provided with the highest quality and most up-to-date information available.

COST-EFFECTIVE LEGAL SERVICE
The Firm takes great care to ensure that our billing rates are reasonable and competitive. But more importantly, our Firm recognizes that protracted litigation wastes valuable client resources which could be put to more productive use in pursuing the particular client’s business or personal objectives. Consequently, CHAPMAN & INTRIERI, L.L.P. strives to handle each matter in the most cost-efficient manner possible and aggressively directs each case toward early resolution in accordance with client goals that are established at the outset. We are committed to cost-conscious litigation management and we have implemented policies to eliminate billing abuses that unnecessarily translate into unreasonable litigation costs and fees, such as:

The client is never double billed for supervisory review of attorney work.

The client is never surcharged for ordinary expenses such as postage, copy costs, telephone charges or attorney services such as couriers, process servers, investigators or deposition costs.

Expert fees are pre-approved by the client and experts are required to adhere to a carefully prepared budget so as to avoid unexpected fees for unnecessary work.

The client is never charged for staff overtime or word processing.

Travel time is frequently billed at a reduced rate.

Multiple attorneys are not utilized on a matter unless required by the size and complexity of the case and pre-approved by the client. Although one of the firm’s partners will always maintain supervisory responsibility for each case, supervision time is not passed through to the client.

Paralegals and law clerks are utilized whenever practical to perform certain specific support tasks at reduced rates. Clients may also be asked to perform investigation or other tasks within their capabilities, if they wish to do so, in order to avoid attorney fees that would otherwise be incurred.

Billing statements are detailed and clients are invited to question charges so that they understand how, why and where their money is spent.

Also, in order to help our clients control costs and accurately budget projected legal expenses, CHAPMAN & INTRIERI, L.L.P., is open to innovative fee arrangements such as a flat fee retainer negotiated up front for individual cases or groups of cases, pre-agreed/standardized charges per task, graduated billing or contingency structures, or other non-traditional arrangements tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.

CONTINUITY IN REPRESENTATION AND COMMUNICATION
All of your legal matters are handled by a principal of the Firm who will actively participate in all stages of the litigation. A principal of the Firm will be constantly available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. A detailed monthly billing statement is mailed to our clients to help keep track of costs incurred and responsiveness to billing inquiries is a top priority.
